Tylluan ar y llaw (yn werth dau yn y llwyn). ~ An owl on the hand (is worth two in the bush).

I ddathlu pen-blwydd Richard, aethon ni i'r Canolfan Heboga Cymru yn y bore.  Dydyn ni ddim wedi bod yno ers amser maith. Dydy'r lle ddim wedi newid llawer - roedd  llawer o adar mewn cewyll.  Edrychodd yr adar yn iachus ond doeddwn ni ddim yn siŵr os roedd y cewyll yn ddigon mawr.

Roedd e'n dda i weld rhai o'r adar yn hedfan ac yn dod yn ôl pan alwodd eu ceidwad.  Roedden ni wedi cael cyfle i ddal tylluan ar law.  Roedd rhyfeddol i weld yr aderyn mor agos.

Roedd aderyn wrth y dderbynfa dwedodd 'Helo' i bawb a ddaeth ac a aeth.  Cafodd Sam ei swyno a mwynhaodd e ddweud 'helo' i'r aderyn.

Treulion ni'r gweddill y dydd gyda'r teulu - gyda 'picnic' yn y tŷ, mynd allan i'r parc, mynd i fwyty i gael cinio ac yn ôl i'r tŷ i chwarae gemau.

Roedd diwrnod hir, llawn, a llawen.

To celebrate Richard's birthday, we went to the Welsh Hawking Centre in the morning. We haven't been there for a long time. The place hasn't changed much - there were lots of birds in cages. The birds looked healthy but we were not sure if the cages were large enough.

It was good to see some of the birds flying and coming back when their keeper called. We had a chance to hold an owl on a hand. It was amazing to see the bird so close.

There was a bird at the reception who said 'Hello' to everyone who came and went. Sam was fascinated and enjoyed saying 'hello' to the bird.

We spent the rest of the day with the family - having a 'picnic' in the house, going out to the park, going to a restaurant for dinner and back to the house to play games.

It was a long, full, and joyful day.
