Not Sure What This Is!! - Identified Painted Lady

A quick trip into town this morning to collect my husband’s extra medication. We found time for coffee and then for a brunch, so quite a good trip.
 
Today’s picture is of a butterfly, but I am not sure what it is. I have included three not very good pictures in the hope that someone will be able to identify it. It flew away while I was taking its picture so I did not see it with its wings open.
   
The temperature at GMT noon was twenty-seven degrees Celsius; it was sunny all day.
