St. Georges de Didonne

We are off on a 3 day mini cycle tour around the Gironde. We did a similar one last year.
This morning we took the ferry from Pointe de Grave on the tip of the Gironde peninsula across to Royan. We then followed the coast south, passing through the pretty seaside town of St. Georges de Didonne. Then we headed inland to Pons for the evening.
Today's first extra is a shot that I couldn't resist of the rather photogenic fishing huts (cabanes) with their nets slung out at the front (carrelets) that can be seen in many places round here.
The second extra is of the old Hotel de Ville and the impressive 'donjon' in the old medieval town of Pons where we are staying the night.
