Splishin' and a Splashin'

5 cousins splashing around in the pool, or more specifically there was 4 of them being splashed by Hendrix HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Such a hot day, we put the paddling pool in the shade after Sunday lunch. It was Julia's birthday and she wanted chicken breast, not a whole roast chicken, so there were 8 chicken breasts, and a small piece of lamb for F.M.i.L, and a small pork shoulder for Marlane. Roast potatoes, Tenderstem Brocolli, Dauphiniose potatoes (commonly referred to as Dolphin Nose in our house) and salad for the healthy ones.
I made a large square sponge cake which Marlane decorated with piped cream and raspberries.
It was, as you might guess, delicious and a lovely day with the children.
