"Travelling" to Desenzano

We always pay a visit to Desenzano when we're here, not because it's special in any way, purely out of what you might call habit or routine; it's a very ordinary place whose only claim to fame is its connection to Mussolini but nevertheless we enjoy coming here.  To get here we "travelled" by hovercraft, only a fifteen minute journey but always a pleasure to be out on the lake and enjoying being among the hustle and bustle of tourists and commuters.

We spent the latter part of the afternoon reading and doing Sudoku and then attended a cocktail party before going out to dinner - all in all, a very pleasant day.

Many thanks for stopping by my journal and for the response to yesterday's blip.
