A Fan Shaped Cloud

I'm pretty certain this is an illusion, caused by the extreme wide angle and a  pattern of parallel clouds sweeping up and over my head as I took the photograph.

Just managed to get out in time for sunrise and parked up in a local pub car park, overlooking these fields to the east.  It was the best part of the day, with showers coming through by lunchtime.
