Old England

This is Broadhembury in the Blackdown Hills. It took seven hours to get here, and the campsite is a bit crowded and noisy, but this sort of rural scene is of a bygone age. And the pub, the Drewe Arms sold good beer (Otter Ale).

Granted there was a newspaper on the table in the pub to remind us of the New UK Dictatorship. And there was a very elderly gentleman at the bar boring for England (and singing the praises of “a clever Boris”), but we enjoyed the visit nonetheless.
