My shot today started as a phone pic of the road resurfacing that has been taking place in our main shopping street, overnight, for the last two weeks.  I have added the original as an extra so you can see just how much fartnarckling  I have indulged in, as requested by our host, Ingeborg, this week.  The colour is from DeepArtEffects ( a phone app) and the distortion is ZigZag from PS Elements.
In other news, our dear friends who have resided in Perth Australia for the last 12 years, have just spent a couple of days with us during their now annual visit to the UK.  As always it is lovely to spend time together and we are never short of conversation. We currently have two holiday adventures in the pipeline to share with them: one in 2020 and another in 2021, so lots to look forward to.
