Euphoria Crete day 15 homeward bound

I woke up really early and jumped in the shower before having a final beautiful breakfast. This has been the only Greek hotel that we've stayed in that have managed to cook scrambled eggs perfectly. I then walked around the complex taking some last minute photos before finishing the packing and checking out. The minibus arrived at 10.30 and we were some of the first to check in for our flight. Chania airport is by far the best Greek airport that we've used. They boarded us in plenty of time and then we waited...and waited...and waited! Take off was about 40 minutes late and I've no idea why! When we got home it was gone 7 which would have been 9 in Crete and we were shattered and starving.
Time to book next year's holiday!
