Flowers

Between the swim (followed by a slow stroll in Sainsbury's) and the late afternoon tempest of hailstones the sun shone and I caught up with my neglected garden.  Much of the time in the back I was joined by the young fox who was fascinated by the radio and the kneeler and the weeds.

There was much hoicking out of weeds and cutting back of dead lavender. I also had two ripe baby orange tomatoes, to eat not blip.

And then there were hailstones, whoppers, very cold and very wet.  Luckily I had just finished.

Now inside watching it get dark, earlier and earlier every night. Definitely autumnal
