Looking towards the Howgills from Oddendale

With rain forecast for most of the day,  so we went out early for a run (it's a week until our 15K) - We went up the Oddendale valley - but much further than we had ever before - past an interesting group of Shooting butts (which I thought would make great bird hides) up to a trig point and this cairn / obelisk on Crosby Ravensworth Fell The view over the Howgills in the background was really impressive.

Good job we went out early - it was starting to rain as we got back to the car!
