Whitby day2

A busy fun filled day in Whitby. Started with delicious kippers for breakfast.
Then off to the station for the steam train ride to Goathland where we had a walk around passing the shops etc featured in the ‘Heartbeat’ TV series and the visiting the church. The very polite parking notices were around the village.
We shared a carriage on the train back to Whitby with some North York’s Moors Railway volunteers who entertained us with their tales of the railways.
After a quick coffee and snack we walked the Ruswarp circular walk including walking under the Larpool viaduct. Then back to the hotel for a short time before heading out for an early meal before going to see a hilarious production by Whitby Amateur Dramatic Society’ of ‘Runs In The Family’ at the Pavilion Theatre
