Perfect...

...day! Tom usually feels tired out the first week after finishing his chemo, but this morning he wanted to go walk along the path up on the bluffs, so I said "let's go"! The weather is fabulous--62 degrees, partly sunny and breezy--perfect for a slow hike! We went (for Tom) relatively far--all the way to 7 bridges--but the stairs and paths that went down to the beach would have been too much for him, so that's where we turned back. The Lake is off to the right from where we were on the path, & looks gorgeous today. (I put a view of it in my extras). I was thinking of my blip buddy MaryElizaR and how she'd have liked hiking there today.  Lots of different fungi growing on trees, lacy leaves, berries, acorns, huge bunches of blooming tickweed & black-eyed susan...all the things she loves to photograph! (I'll put it on the list, Mary!)  :))
