The Birthday Boy

Hamish is 10 today.  It seems like only yesterday I was bringing home a big bundle of fluff.  I had a friend hold him in the car as he was collected from a breeder in Western Sydney.  He was as good as gold and I suspect it was the only time he travelled well as he is not a good car traveller.  Times change.  When I collected Poppy from a breeder North of here she was in a crate in the back of the car and barked and whinged the 2 hours home.  She has turned out to be a good traveller though.  You don't quite know what you are getting with puppies do you.  Anyway, a very happy birthday to Hamish who has given me lots of love over the last 10 years.  He might even get a present if I can get out at lunch time.
