Retro Cafe

After yesterday's drama with G not having her phone on her, I made sure she left home with it today! She had four hours in school, so I reckoned it wasn't worth coming all the way home to turn around a few hours later, so I went along to my Lebanese cafe to do some work.

It's great they are still there and the waiter recognised me. They've moved things around a little. I love all the retro stuff they have in there. My blip shows a small sample.

My time there was short-lived though as the hairdresser was able to fit me in at very short notice, so I found myself driving to the other side of town anyway! All done in time for me to collect G and bring her home. We had lunch and then pretty much stayed put for the rest of the day.

We are a bit glued to the TV at the moment watching everything happening in Westminster. Fortunately, the pound is recovering at just the right time for me. And it is the weekend. Yay!
