The Former RAF Gatow Open Day

Was glorious  and loads of fun.Up in the control tower  set me thinking how I landed here 32 years ago .Who sat 'where' controlling that flight.?
My extras are a fun figure I always seem to meet .We had a mini dual and a pal took some images .The other extra is a wall painting celebrating all the good things planes can bring .Britain played a great part in the air lift and each week brought in tons of food . The allies  and the Germans who had been conned by a fascist worked well together and brought about peace and prosperity for all ..Could this be what some are eager to destroy ?
