Primordial plant life

We were orienteering in sprint races at Temple Newsham, close to Leeds. The magnificent mansion has stunning grounds which I attempted to have a quick walk with Jimmy during a break. Found the sight of this huge plant across the water truly amazing. Unfortunately Jimmy took fright as there is now a Going Ape installation and he found the sound of the zip wires very scary and dragged me back to the 'safety' of the car park; stupid boy!
