As a child

My mother loved this photo so much that she asked if she could keep it. I already had it hanging there but I remember how thrilled she was when I “gave “ it to her. I was told it was taken when she was 13 months old.

I began the process of reclaiming the things mom somehow acquired that actually belonged to me. It was never really worth having a discussion about it. I am concerned that I haven’t been able to locate the diamond pendant she rarely removed. (She was wearing it in my blip on Sunday.) I remember putting it on me when I took her to the emergency room a week ago. But I also remember taking it off and placing on her nightstand.

Jewel, who was taking care of mom four hours every weekday is going to continue with me for the next six weeks. It was great to have her here today. She made me breakfast, and helped me with the cooling machine and sling among other things.

Otherwise, it was a quiet day for which I am grateful.  
Please excuse me for my lack of replies. I have had my brothers take a look at Mom’s blip and they, too, are appreciative of your outpouring of love and support.
