Goldenrod

Solidago.

       There's lots of wild golden rod still in bloom along by the river. The thistle has gone to seed and the past couple of mornings have been cold enough to make the hops look pretty sorry for themselves.

       The movie I watched today was The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943) with the inimitable Deborah Kerr playing several rôles.
