I'm afraid we did very little cleaning in the cottage before we set off, but it was still much cleaner than when we arrived!

The forecast was wet so we went to Harlech and explored the castle, somewhere neither of us had been before. We'd been told that there was a secret tunnel down to the beach, but after searching unsuccessfully we asked at the desk and were told that Harlech didn't, and never had had a tunnel. Oh well!
