Penmon Lighthouse

The weather at Anglesey looked good today, so we spent the day over there. We worked our way over to Penmon, where there is one of Anglesey's lighthouses.

With the cloud cover, waiting for the sun to shine on the lighthouse was a lengthy process, and combining that with a 10-shop multi exposure took the best part of an hour.

We stopped off at Beaumaris on the way back to visit one of the Camra Heritage pubs - the Old Bulls Head Inn, (extra)

The marvellous unspoilt public bar and a snug annexe to the left in this 17/18th century inn are barely altered in 50 years. This was a coaching inn on the London to Holyhead route prior to Telford's Menai Suspension Bridge. Great little classic unspoilt pub.
