Sgwarnog: In the Field

Feast

The last dandelion in the garden provides a feast for the hoverflies.

It was shaping up as a nice day, so 11yo,15yo & I headed out to Ilkley where we did our usual circuit of lunch by the river, stone skimming, football,  playground, cafe and a couple of shops.

On the way out we had our first journey on one of the new Class 331s which arrived on the Airedale & Wharfedale lines at the beginning of the week.

Later, there were a few butterflies in the graveyard and the community garden: Small Tortoiseshell, Speckled Wood, Holly Blue, Red Admiral, Painted Lady and Small White.
