Hawk

Imagine my surprise when I looked towards the backyard and spotted this Cooper's hawk parked on the wall.  Glad I had a camera there on a tripod.

I don't think the events of this week have sunk in yet.  I feel numb.  No one has come by in days.  I'm starting to feel like I'm on an ice floe.
