Fat Rascals

Decided not to go over to loch Tay tonight as the weather tomorrow is blowing a gale and raining all day. Managed to get a few things done in the house but spent ages looking for an old toy in the study and lounge leftover boxes with no luck. Did manage to get a batch of Fat Rascals made for the weekend though. Started to listen to Test Match Special this year for the Ashes and world cup. During the Headingly and Old Trafford tests they kept going on about Fat Rascals. Turns out they are a type of spiced fruit scone eaten in Yorkshire. As we are meeting up with the B’s, who are also big cricket fans, I thought I’d give them a go as a treat for when J and NB have completed their swim on Sunday.
