Senator Frances Black

The Irish Independent Senator Frances Black launched in January 2018 the bill banding import and sale of goods, services and natural resources originating in settlements in occupied territories. Such settlements are illegal under both international humanitarian law and domestic Irish law, and result in human rights violations on the ground.  In December this year it is expected that Irland will be the first country to pass legislation banning the import if settlements products. More countries might follow Irlands example.

Senator Black has been invited to Norway to speak in different forums on this subject. Here in front of our Parliament.
