Beautiful autumn morning on the Meadows

Given how beautiful it was in the sunshine on the Meadows this morning, it's hard to believe that just a few hours later the skies turned black and it was pouring. Autumn is well and truly here.

I really enjoyed my day on campus today, mainly because much of it was spent with my immediate colleagues and PhD students making exciting plans for future projects and publications.

This evening has been fun too. Mr hazelh cooked an amazing fish, leek, spinach, pea and dill lasagne for supper. For pudding there was the trifle that I made before I set off for work yesterday morning. Our dinner guests were Mummy hazelh and Jon. Inevitably the Catan board came out after the meal. Despite their joint efforts, I triumphed over the other players and won the game.

Exercise today: walking (13,350 steps).
