Squirrel Blip Friday .....

.... apprehension.

I had to move one of our feeding posts today as the chipmunks were using it to access the safflower seed feeder!  Cheeky things these chipmunks are!

The feeding post is a large piece of log that is usually standing upright and I put the seeds and nuts on the top.  It made it easy for the chippy to jump onto the nearby safflower feeder!  In order to stop the chippy from getting to the safflower seeds I laid the log on it's side and then put some peanuts on it for the chippies and squirrels.  

Then I sat in the sun getting my blips!  The squirrel was apprehensive at first as they sometimes are with new things ..... but as you can see the chipmunk had no problem with this new setup!
