At last ..... we had some sunshine this morning ...... so after putting the washing in I headed out into the garden!

With all this rain we've had the weeds have been busily drinking it all up & have prospered somewhat too well! So the battle with the weeds commenced! I won!

I also deadheaded the buddleia which is still producing more flowers!

I have finally found a couple of Small White caterpillars on the Rocket ...... they are so well camouflaged they are difficult to spot ..... they are looking rather healthy & plump ...... which is more than can be said for the Rocket which is full of holes ....... so this had to be today's blip! :-)

It was so good to be outside in the warmth from the sun ....... the garden is looking better too! :-)

Needless to say .... the sunshine didn't last ..... the rain is back this afternoon .... though not nearly as heavy as it has been! I suppose that's a small plus!
