The view from the house as the rain creeps up the valley.  Our neighbour's cattle are just about visible.

Today was blustery with sunshine and showers.  T and I drove to a friend's house with a chainsaw to cut a small conifer down in her garden.  It looks so much better without it. There is a conifer in my garden too that has grown much too large, partially obscuring the view - it was only about a foot high when I planted it.   It is sad to get rid healthy plants and trees but it will be going in due course.
