FlowerFriday....Verbena

Luckily I took this shot this morning before I went to my excercise/dance class, as the forecast for later was not good, and it is now raining heavily and really miserable outside.  We seem to have gone straight from summer into winter during the space of a week or so! So much needs doing in the garden, but it is just not possible. Thanks to Bikerbear for hosting, and Hobbs for the October Colour Blitz challenge.....:)
Have just started our latest book for the library monthly book group,
'Hag-seed' by Margaret Atwood.... so far, so good.  Was surprised to find just how many books she has had published, such a talented writer. I am currently listening to 'The Testaments,' a sequel to 'The Handmaid's Tale,' being broadcast in daily episodes on Radio 4.........
