A Gorgeous Fall Day

What an absolutely beautiful day! The sky was perfectly blue and the sunshine warm and inviting. My co-grandmother and I took the little ones over to a friend’s farm for the afternoon. We fed her horses and sheep, watched the chickens and her four pugs. We rode the tractor and picked the last of the vegetables from the garden. My granddaughter got to pick a pumpkin from the patch. Sheer joy! My friend has a huge patch of Calendula that were looking particularly lovely in the sun.
