For a change, this is almost straight out of the camera - just a minimal tweak to the colour saturation, sharpened and no cropping.

The island in the Forth Estuary is Inchkeith from Seafield beach, Kirkcaldy.


'Angellightphoto' asked below about the flat-topped structures.

They are the remains of an old breakwater/pier that was intended to be part of a harbour before it was abandoned, uncompleted, as totally unsuitable.
