Thank You For the Days ..

Melancholy

I was early for singing this morning and had twenty minutes to fill. I spent it exploring the burial ground opposite the church hall where we meet.

I love cemeteries, and had high hopes of this one, behind a high wall off a busy road. Once through the gates my illusions were shattered - as were most of the memorial stones. I know that lots have had to be laid horizontal because they are unstable and might fall on someone.  But it looks as if  a bulldozer had been used to do the job here. Surely a bit more respect is due.

I've given the scene a bit of a tweak to make it look sombre rather than sordid.

Feet up now, prior to trying out a new dance group this evening.
