New beginnings

Meet Berry, the end result of a trip down to Aberdeenshire. She's a bit overwhelmed and reserved at the moment but should (hopefully!) relax once she's used to our funny ways. In fact we chose her for her quieter qualities; she had a very bouncy and fun sister who was into everything, very extrovert and the star of the welcoming committee, but on consideration we've chosen this little beauty.

So, Poppy is not long gone and most definitely not forgotten. The big hole she's left will only ever be filled by another fur friend who'll wriggle into those empty spaces in their own way. We've deliberately chosen a liver and white colouring as Berry is not a substitute but her own little self. We are so looking forward to the patter of dog feet around the place again. I'm sure there will be a plethora of pics to come!

We've never been to this part of Scotland before and I have to say it's stunning. An extra blip of the area near Berry's birthplace. We will certainly be back this way at some point.

A longish journey back tomorrow and then some relaxing down time :-)
