Corbridge Roman Town and Museum

We arrived yesterday afternoon with just enough time to visit the Roman Site and have a drink in the village. I’ve booked us on to a photography using your phone workshop on Sunday, so we have today to explore and tomorrow for the workshop. So much choice, so what will we do today.

I enjoyed the museum which traces the development of the town and the lives of the people who lived there. It will be worth a return visit when I’ve had a little more time with the guide book. So we’ll be back. although I’ve visited the wall area before this is not an area I know very well and we rather fell in love with it yesterday. Perhaps this is an area we ought to persuade my brother to look at if he’s thinking about returning to the UK. He’s talking about Berwick, which we also like, but I can see lots of advantages to this part of the UK.
