And so the rain continued

We had hoped to go for a walk on the beach today but as it was still raining we went to the national Trust property Kingston Lacy. We looked round the wonderful old house and then around the gardens. The image is the wet acers in the Japanese garden. They were changing colour and all were amazing. See HtP’s image to see Holm Oak that had been encouraged into this stunning shape.

We then drove to the The Square and Compass pub in Worth Matravers to hear Kit Hawes and Aaron Catlow but the pub was tiny and we were in another room to them and it was hard to hear them.

It’s still raining.
