In Support of a Spider's Web

After my morning coffee I pondered the best place for some fresh air and the chance of Fungi, and eventually headed over to Lightwater Country Park, just a few miles away. The park is predominately heathland habitat, with ponds, woodland, meadows and areas of scrub. 

After as uninspiring and fungi-less start I came across an area of woodland just bursting with fungi of different varieties.  The main shot comes from this area, and provides my entry for Tiny Tuesday, hosted by Barking this month.

During the walk back to the car it was difficult to miss the various fungi on display, including the photogenic Fly Agaric (extras)
