Embsay Station

The original station was on the Skipton to Ilkley line of the Midland Railway which opened in 1888. Dr. Beeching closed it down in 1965.
This stretch of the railway re-opened in 1981 as the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.  Embsay station is the Western terminus of the 4 mile line and has been carefully restored to its former LMS condition.
The car is my new car (Citroen C5 Aircross) which I collected yesterday.  After travelling back up the M1 in atrocious conditions, today it received a well deserved wash. I thought it deserved to be Blipped :-)
