Not a Euan Blip

Euan allowed his Mum and Dad a few hours' sleep last night then it all began again about 5am with serious wind!  Granny and Grandad managed to soothe him for an hour or so to give Mum something of a break but then he erupted all down me and we both had to have a change of clothes!  The laughter woke Dad Rob and it was decided that Euan needed his first bath - which he objected to strenuously, but at least all of that and a good feed meant he was tired and went down for a couple of hours.

Rob went off to work for those hours, Becky went back to bed, Tony made an apple pie and I did a few jobs, phew!  They've managed a good, sunshiny walk this afternoon whilst Grandad went for a run and then I took a walk up to Bunker Hill with my camera.  Although visible from most places in the city (there is only one hill after all!) the Monument is more impressive within its surroundings so I was disappointed trying to capture it with some Fall colour.  I love the streets that radiate it from it with the old town shingled look so I quite like the view down this one with a glimpse of the bridge and the new town beyond.

The guy in the Salem hardware store recommended we watch 'The Town' which was filmed here in Charlestown, once notorious for its bank robber gangs.  We watched it the other night (Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner, Pete Postlethwaite) and it was good, made better by location spotting.
