Butter

.. wouldn't melt!

Berry decided to be on early duty this morning which has put her whole day (and mine) out of kilter - just when I thought I could see some sort of pattern to help anticipate the necessary puppy relieving! So a morning of snatched jobs (ironing done by 8:30; unheard of!) and abortive wanders around the garden.

Lovely visit from a friend who was a brilliant first extra human for Berry. And today's nasty noise was the hoover - not very keen (I could pretty much hoover over Poppydog!).

A flock of red wings visited the garden today and came so close we had great views of their beautiful plumage. We think we've had a flock of golden plover too, wheeling over the bay - too fluttery in flight and too small to be the usual curlew gang.

Tonight's sewers were treated to a puppy greet and meet but we did actually get some sewing done ... eventually. Last session of sewing here until next year so we wished each other a Happy Christmas :-0!!
