Loch Lomond from the Dumpling

Duncryne, known locally as the Dumpling, is a hill of only 465 feet. For a small effort there's a disproportionately good reward of the view of the south end of Loch Lomond and the islands dotted in the water. We set off early with our Dutch family to get the best of the weather. Met the baby and her dad, scrambled up the Dumpling and headed back to Balmaha for coffee and cake. A walk along the loch before going our separate ways. Our nephew in law (if that's a recognised relationship) stayed behind to climb Conic Hill while the rest of the Stirling contingent came home to change out of wet, muddy clothes and prepare for pizza night.
