Blipping Autumn again...

... a slightly abstract view of a Japanese Maple tree, taken during our short visit to Harlow Carr, after a snack in the cafe.

We also wandered around finding fungi and photographing some examples (though I had not gone equipped with the small tripod --essential in the low woodland light).

Having photographed a few interesting samples, the time came to try to identify them. I should have realised this would not be an easy project. But, in today's extra, I have included a picture that I liked (more because of the colour combination than for its photographic merit!). I still haven't managed to identify the specimen!
