Celebrating

Hopeless night’s sleep - was still wide awake at 1.30am and then woke with a start at 7.30am wondering where I was and what time it was. Let’s hope it soon settles back into a better pattern!
A morning of shepherding guests and ladies in waiting and choreographing various sessions in the run up to the ceremonial unveiling of a plaque to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the appointment here of the first ‘Professor of Universal History’ in Scotland - apparently the Town Council was of the opinion that history should be taught at the university!
Afterwards back for a series of meetings and struggled a bit during one of them to keep awake!
Home (it’s getting so dark so early!) and struggled to do some prep for tomorrow and other work to avoid going to bed about half six!
