Anthurium

Myroon and Mark brought an enormous anthurium plant when they visited yesterday. It has come in handy for tonight's emergency blip.

(I  blame hobbs for the emphasis on primary colours!!)

This morning I was trying to shake off the feeling that a cold is starting. I'm still not convinced that I have anything much wrong, but I don't feel too well.

I had a trip to Newcastle for my regular mental health support, much appreciated.

I was home just in time to serve lunch and then welcome the Walking Festival committee. We have three new committee members and they seem to be getting stuck in immediately. Excellent.

Tonight Mum has worn her new distance specs to watch last night's quizzes. One lens is opaque so she can see clearly through the other lens without the need for prisms. So far so good. (Fingers crossed.)
