Park of Keir “financial black hole”

Park of Keir is a bit like Brexit- the saga goes on and on.

It's two years since the Scottish government granted approval for Judy Murray ‘s “legacy” to her son ,tennis player Andy Murray, of a tennis centre, hotel, golf course and executive housing etc. on our greenbelt between Dunblane and Bridge of Allan despite  it contravening planning regulations and against huge opposition from the local communities in both  Dunblane and Bridge of Allan.

Today  the Stirling Observer carries a story saying we should have a conclusion to the Park of Keir saga by the end of January. (see extra).

As Mark Ruskell, our Green MSP, told the paper:”

“There is a huge financial black hole in the development even with the planned executive housing. “

From the start it was never clear how Judy Murray was going to secure a minimum of £8 million of public funding.
