ALL PINKED OUT! - PINKTOBER 31

Hello Lovely Blippers

How can it possibly be the end of October?  I have had an amazing month with Mrs. HCB in all her shenanigans adventures, and I do hope that you have enjoyed them with us.

Today, Mrs. HCB gathered everything from around the house that was pink - and plonked me in the middle of them all - just to remind you the object of this month has been to find something pink every day and to raise awareness of breast cancer - and I have to say, I am “all pinked out”!

Here are just a few facts and figures:

Every 15 seconds, somewhere in the world, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide and is increasing in developing countries in particular, where the majority of cases are diagnosed in late stages.

Thanks to research:

Although breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK, survival over the last 40 years has nearly doubled.

Today 8 in 10 women diagnosed with breast cancer will survive their disease for 10 years or more.

You have all been wonderful and faithful in clicking,
so please join Mrs. HCB and me
on this last day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
By clicking HERE
so that those who are not able to pay
can have a free mammogram.

This may be the last day of BCAM but the site on which you have been clicking isn’t just for Breast Cancer - you can click every day to help many other worthy causes and if you wish to do this, click on the Subscribe button at the top of the page to be reminded.

With love to you all JH Ted

WHAT CANCER CANNOT DO
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot destroy peace.
It cannot kill friendship(s).
It cannot suppress memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot invade the soul.
It cannot steal eternal life.
It cannot conquer the spirit.
