Fountains Abbey

After reluctantly leaving Danby, we stopped off at Fountains Abbey as it’s many years since we were there . 
These tiles took my eye as they had been reassembled in the ruins and they reminded me of the Islamic art work we had seen recently in Spain . 
A long drive home on Paul’s 60th birthday- celebrations tomorrow .
