Pasta

I went to London this morning with our daughter and granddaughter for Victoria’s, what we hoped would be, her final check-up.  After three years and three major hip surgeries, all is well and she does not have to go back again, unless she encounters any problems.

We had breakfast in The London Clinic Café before her appointment and then after the appointment, we caught the train home. It was rather too early for lunch in London, so we caught the train to Bishop’s Stortford and went to Zizzi. Today’s picture is the pasta dish that I had; it was gluten free as well as vegan. Our daughter commented that it was not much different to what I would normally have eaten. It looks a small portion, but it was bigger than it looked and contained extra mushrooms as well as small cherry tomatoes; it was excellent and very filling.

The temperature at GMT noon today was eleven degrees Celsius; dry but dull for most of the day.
