View Across The Marsh

Today’s picture was taken looking across the marsh, which like earlier in the year has been cut, except for sections where the trees are shedding their branches.
 
Despite heavy rain, our large natural pond still does not have any water in it; it has been dry for about two years now.

The temperature at GMT noon today was six degrees Celsius; there has been some weak sunshine.
