Pampas Grass

I’m not typically a fan of Pampas Grass since I grew up in coastal Massachusetts where it is an invasive species - as it is in many states. Here in northwestern Louisiana it isn’t (yet) and is now in bloom. I caught this inflorescence glowing in the afternoon sunlight.
